Steven Hayes & Joshua Komisarjevsky - Cheshire Home Invasion

On August 6th, 2007 a tragedy happened in Cheshire, Connecticut. A family destroyed by two careless men. A man named Dr. William A. Petit, 50, lost his family including his wife Jennifer Hawke-Petit, 48, his oldest daughter Hayley, 17, and Michaela, 11. The three of them were tied to their beds raped murdered and set on fire to burn. Jennifer didn't suffer as much as the two young girls, Jennifer was strangled and the two daughters has to lay tied in their bed and wait to die from the smoke inhalation. The father was beaten by a baseball bat and was tied up but he managed to escape the fire.

Steven Hayes, 44, right, and Joshua Komisarjevsky, 26, left, are the people on trial for this case. These two men have been in jail already and they both have a lot of charges on their heads for just this one situation. The crime they committed was so bad that they are both looking at the death penalty if convicted. They have counts such as the murder of two or more persons, kidnapping, burglary, arson, sexual assault and more. Steven Hayes is currently located in MacDougall-Walker Correctional Institution in Suffield. Hayes tried to commit suicide from a drug overdose. It was said that this is not the first time he tried to overdose. Prison guards found him unconscious and he was taken to the UCONN Health Center in Farmington, Connecticut. It was said that he faked taking his medicine for a few days and just took them all at once. He put himself in a coma. It seems as though he was trying to avoid the jury selection which in fact was postponed until the following but the trial won't start until sometime in September.

This was a very tragic incident that happened. The thing that made it worse is that it was planned. They had all the tools and worst they had the mentality. They actually had the courage to do something so terrible. Many people say they deserve the death penalty. Many people also said that if Steven Hayes wanted to overdose then why didn't they just let him die. I think that's kind of cruel and maybe they just want him to suffer in a jail cell until they do kill him but either way people just want him to die. Komisarjevsky and Hayes brought pain to many people so they deserve to get whatever they are convicted for.

How to Annoy People on Elevators

I wouldn't say I'm an annoying person, but I am very silly and kind of daring at the same time. I have never tried to annoy a stranger on an elevator on purpose but it would definitely be a different story if I was with my friends, if my friends would do it with me I so would. This would be a perfect thing to do at the mall just because there are a bunch of teenage people I would want to annoy because every time I go to the mall someone just feels the need to bother me so why not do it back right? Maybe the decision of revenge isn't a very good idea but at the same time you just want to have fun!

So the first thing I would do is obviously find an elevator and not a small one a nice roomy one so a lot of people can fit in it. The more the merrier. I would be so obnoxious and talk really loud to my friends and sing annoying songs that people don't really like, but if you feel like they might like it just sing it really badly.

In the video at the bottom of this the first step is to stare at them so that they feel very uncomfortable. That would be so funny. The next step would be to stand in a corner I think thats kind of corny and kind of weird but if I saw someone do that it wouldn't annoy me it would just come off as really weird. Number three Meow? Wow! That is the funniest thing I've ever heard. It looks pretty funny on the video too. Bring an invisible friend? now thats just over doing it that is not annoying at all its just kind of odd. Taking pictures of your new friends, talking to your bag, and showing off your new purchases are also in the video that I wouldn't really do but then again I guess I can think about it.

Top Five Places I Want to Travel

5. Egypt -
I want to go to Egypt because I want to see the Seven Wonders of Egypt. Especially the Great Sphinx and the Pyramids of Giza.

4. Las Vegas -
Las Vegas seems like party central, its a party everyday! I would love to go there when I am 21 years old just so I get the party urge out of me and Vegas would definitely do that.

3. Paris, France - I always wanted to see the Eiffel Tower. Paris just seems like a key place where people just want to visit one day.

2. Australia -
I absolutely have to go to Australia. I would love to visit Sydney. But the main reason for me to visit Australia is to see the Kangaroos and the Koalas!

1. Italy -
I always dreamed of going to Italy. Italy is a very romantic place especially in Venice which is known as the city of lovers. Another place would obviously be Rome which has so much History and so many sites to see. And the language they speak make me melt!

Riot !

I hate when people live in a fairy tale would and pretend everything in the world is made out of candy and that it's so perfect. Nothing is perfect get over it! Come on let's be serious. The world is full of creeps and you constantly have to watch yourself when you walk down the street especially if your a young teenage girl such as myself.

I hate when people call other people weird because what is normal? The definition of normal is something common and sorry to break it to you but no one is the same!

I hate when people classify rock music as white people music. That is not cool. I listen to rock and thats the name of the genre! I LOVE Paramore!
I hate when people decide to tell me who I am when they clearly don't know what they are talking about when they say things like that. Which also falls in the category of talking reckless.
I hate how they took the Rugrats off air!
I hate when people lie and don't feel anything at all.
I hate sarcastic people all the time. Every time I say something some one would make a smart comment and they make me feel so dumb and I am NOT dumb.
I hate how guys lie a lot to cover up a mistake they did but they never learn that it'll end up coming out eventually.

I hate when I have to think about thing I hate and nothing comes to mind but I bet when I get out of this class I'm going to have ALOT of things to dislike.

Secret Life of the American Teenager

The show Secret Life of the American Teenager is aired on ABC Family. This show is captivating and interests me every Monday at eight pm. There has been about 2 seasons and is now on its third one. This show takes a look at the relationships between teenagers in High School and how they react when what one person does effects the circle of friends. This show caught my attention at first because a young 15 year old girl found out she was pregnant after coming from Band Camp. Interesting right? This show has a lot of characters that interact and connect to each other. If I were to try to describe it it would be kind of difficult to understand. This show has three wins and nine nominations. It won the Gracie Award and the Teen Choice Award both in 2009 and won the Teen Choice Award again in 2008.
It's so easy to relate to and is also very emotional depending on what kind of things you been through throughout your life. You can find at least one thing in each character to relate to down to foster parents, pregnancies, the loss of parents, the divorce of parents, relationships gone wrong faults of infidelity and a lot more.
One bad thing about this show is that I guess all the time whenever they show the trailer for the next episode and I'm always right, which is kind of disappointing. At the same time you think the girl Amy the girl who got pregnant and her baby's father are going to get together which I have been dying to happen but I was wrong. The intensity has died down as the seasons continued and it's kind of upsetting because sometimes I would force myself to watch it but it is very much so still very interesting.
If I had to rate this show I would have to give it a 7 out of 10 just because of those faults in the last paragraph but other then that the show is very relaxing. It's something you would want to do when your home watching t.v by yourself eating popcorn or maybe while your eating ice cream. It can also help you gather yourself if your in a related issue. So I say watch it every Monday at 8 pm.
